Benelli was delighted with the numbers attending the presentation of its new semi-automatic shotguns at the IWA 2014 international exhibition. When the signal was given, the veils were lifted to reveal the new M2 Comfortech 20 bore for left handed users. The world’s first and only left handed 20 bore semi-automatic shotgun will be in the gun shops in only a few months to satisfy the needs of left handed hunters who have long awaited a small bore semi-auto tailored for their own needs. Benelli has long been committed to serving the left-handed public. The company’s world-beating range of left handed inertia-driven shotguns now consists of five technopolymer stock and two wood stock 12 bores plus this new 20 bore. Between them, these models offer the instinctive comfort, excellent performance and style to satisfy all needs and preferences.
A high level of configurability allows over forty different models to be obtained, ensuring that every hunter can find exactly the shotgun he wants. Visitors to the Benelli stand appreciated the new gun’s left hand cartridge ejection, intuitive speed to shoulder and rapid targeting. Also revealed at the exhibition were the new Compact Swift models (the M2 Comfortech 12 bore, M2 Comfortech 20 bore, Montefeltro 20 bore, Raffaello Black and Raffaello Power Bore, all with reduced length of pull). These compact semi-automatics represent the ultimate in agility for the speed with which they can be brought to shoulder and aimed, and are ideal choices for novice, young and lady users. The IWA exhibition in Nuremburg provided Benelli with an excellent opportunity to showcase its latest models and to demonstrate once again its commitment to developing new products to offer every hunter the shotgun he has always dreamed of owning.
